Το Archer είναι η σειρά κινουμένων σχεδίων από το κανάλι FX, το οποίο και έκανε πρεμιέρα στις 14 Ιανουαρίου του 2010. Δημιουργός της είναι ο Adam Reed και η ιδέα της υλοποίησης προήλθε ενώ βρισκόταν σε ταξίδι αναψυχής και δεν μπορούσε να προσεγγίσει μία όμορφη γυναίκα. Το σκεπτικό ενός γοητευτικού πράκτορα που θα είχε έτοιμες πολλές ατάκες στο μανίκι του έγινε δεκτό από το κανάλι και μέχρι σήμερα, το Archer είναι γνωστό για το μαύρο του χιούμορ, που συνδυάζεται από γρήγορους διαλόγους και ταχύτητες.

Η σειρά έχει κερδίσει πολύ καλές κριτικές όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και ενδεικτικά, το Metacritic το έχει βαθμολογήσει με 78/100 για την πρώτη του σεζόν, 88/100 για την δεύτερη, 75/100 για την τρίτη και 80/100 για την τέταρτη. Τον Φλεβάρη ανακοινώθηκε από το κανάλι η ανανέωση για μία πέμπτη σεζόν δεκατριών επεισοδίων, που θα κάνει πρεμιέρα κατά πάσα πιθανότητα τον Ιανουάριο του 2014.
